11 months already!!!!! Just a few days shy of 11 months old Charli took her first steps. She loves to walk around with her train, but in this case she took those steps all by herself! Let's not forget she is a textbook crawler and a fast one! She is such a big girl and so independent. She is comfortable in her crib and wakes up smiling and playing until we go in to greet her. She gives "big hugs" and is a kissing machine; wide open mouth and tongue all over your cheek! She continues to be quite the little entertainer, so busy, always talking, and so dramatic, I wonder where she gets it?? She also loves to play " peek a boo" and initiates the game all by herself. She loves to read her books and is very good at recognizing people and objects. Her favorite word is" mom mom mom mom mom." She loves to laugh and make squishy faces. She can go under water at swimming lessons for 3 seconds and is the best kicker in the class. Her fine motor skills are amazing and she gives high fives with a huge smile. She uses a sippy cup during the day at Beth's, yes a cup, I can't believe it! She is a terrific eater and is such a pleasure to be around. We are able to take her out to eat and she joins in the conversation and loves being around people. She is fearless, especially when it comes to the dogs. She does not cry around strangers but does not take her eyes off of them, even to blink, and warms up as soon as she can feel Mommy and Daddy are trusting of the person. She loves babies, well at least kissing them. She went to a few of Daddy's wrestling meets and was the center of attention, especially with her big blue eyes and overwhelming amount of hair! She turned 11 months on Valentine's Day which is also Great Grandma's 93rd birthday. She came home from Beth's with all kinds of treats and she made us a Valentine! OHHHH and let's not forget that Charli LOVES to DANCE DANCE!! Taking pictures and the flash not so much, but we try to catch her in action and with her eyes open :) Here are a few pictures from the month.
